It seems that those who sell gift baskets in this manner are merely dabbling, and at the same time they are introducing people to gift baskets, people who hadn't considered buying them before. The prices where low and the quality of the prioducts was cheap. I would have to say that the marketing is in the right place but I doubt the vendors made serious money. This is not good marketing.
