A good friend recently asked me to create a spa gift basket as a donation for a runner’s marathon scheduled in New York City later this month.
Her one request for this huge basket was that the items included be appropriate for a man or woman.
I asked my friend several questions to make sure the gift was created with a high level of care, the way you design your baskets, and also made sure of the following.
1. Color choices. This basket, created in a rectangular shaped, gold and bronze tub, contains products packaged in purple and green shades, friendly colors for both genders.
2. Pleasant scents. Heavy gardenia or other flowery fragrances wouldn’t be appreciated by men, and some women also don’t agree with these scents, so nothing in this category was chosen.
3. Products everyone loves but doesn’t buy for themselves. Grooming tools, tub pillows, scrubbers, moisturizers, foot powders and sprays, pedicure products and a rubber duck with a sweet smile on its face await the recipient.
Lots of products in this gift are organic, which I found on the OrganicWholesaleSupplies.com site.
There’s a good chance that most of your spa gift basket products and themes are targeted for women. How appropriate is your inventory when a man’s spa gift is ordered?
