Wholesaler Wednesday, 5 Questions for…BoxCo Industries

by Shirley George Frazier on May 26, 2010

boxcologoGift basket designers have long associated BoxCo Industries with quality, innovation, and class.

Their uniquely-styled, themed containers guarantee second looks and wide smiles from customers who enjoy receiving gift arrangements in these alternative boxes.

Let’s learn more about this great wholesaler and why they are an industry standard.

Q: What makes your company one that designers choose for unique and alternative packaging?

BOXCO: All of our designs are created in-house and are based upon the trends in the fashion and packaging industry. We try to make sure we offer looks that are unique to the packaging industry.

Q: What’s the most-common question that designers ask when ordering for the first time, and what is your response?

BOXCO: “What is your minimum order?” Our minimum is $50. You can order less than that, but there is a $5.00 service fee.

Q: List five of the top themes ordered by gift basket designers.

BOXCO: Birthday, Baby, Get Well, Thank You, and Real Estate.

(Designers: See BoxCo’s top themes and more on this page.)

Q: What’s the reason retailers count on you for the top-selling themes?

BOXCO: Designers know that we offer them a large selection of each of these product categories.

Q: What’s the strangest theme you’ve been asked to design, which you turned down because it was too “out there?”

BOXCO: One customer asked us to create a “scratch and sniff” floral box.
