Corporate Gift Basket Accounts that You Can Get

Copyright Shirley George Frazier. All rights reserved. What is a corporate account?

The answer is subjective because what one designer considers as corporate isn’t necessarily corporate to another designer.

You might consider such an account as one that employs 500 or more people, giving you access to any number of individuals who will order at any given moment.

While that’s true, another account could be one that employs five people or just one individual.

Don’t count any of them out. The old model of what a corporate account was doesn’t mean that such a model is the only one to approach.

Have you considered the following for your corporate account list?

  • Doctor
  • Dentist
  • Salon stylist
  • Veterinarian
  • Insurance agent
  • Landscaper
  • Interior designer
  • Realtor
  • Real estate investor

These individuals work for themselves or work for a larger company. They are all part of my circle and all buy gift baskets from me. Examples of how I get them to say “yes” is what I share with members of my VIP programs. It’s not a rocket science approach, and it works to make me money every month.

I knew, back in 1990 when I began making and selling gift baskets, that traditional corporations may never buy from me, and that was fine because people in business need gift baskets for a variety of reasons. I knew that if I tapped into those reasons, I’d get sales.

Are you still waiting for the 500+ corporations to order from you, or are you consistently marketing gift baskets to the business people in your circle?
