Get Clear on Gift Basket Success in 2017
What do you want to achieve in Year 2017 with your gift basket business?
Answering with “more sales” and “more clients” is not definitive enough.
If you wanted that in the past and it didn’t happen, that’s one way to know not to respond in that manner.
Your goals must be decisive and measurable.
- 20% more sales than in 2016.
- 3 new corporate clients.
- Profits (not sales) totaling $50,000 or more.
Declaring what you want to achieve is the first step. Next comes the planning and review of the plan each month to stay on track or to edit the plan according to new situations that occur throughout the year.
If you currently work for a company or have ever worked for a firm, you can bet that their yearly plan was created and followed. That’s why you receive a certain raise each year. It’s a percentage increase above your current salary whether you’ve been an excellent or average worker. I know all about this, because I’ve seen the numbers that state how much a person will receive no matter what their initiative.
My question to you is:
Will you give yourself a paltry profit in 2017 or a significant increase?
One way to answer with the latter response is by having a mentor. It would be wonderful to get your preferred result on your own, but it’s not possible. Sorry. Even I know it’s not possible, which is why I have a mentor and other partnerships that keep me motivated and on track.
